Steps to Joining:
Welcome to Island Primary, we’re happy you’ve landed here!
We currently have places available for September 2024 in our Year 1 - 5 classes, with small waiting lists for Reception and Year 6.

We accept applications throughout the year and encourage families to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment. For families with younger siblings seeking entry into our Reception program, we ask that they register their younger ones as early as possible and no later than October 1st of the year preceding entry.

We will require the following documents which may be uploaded during the Online Application Process, or sent to us via email:
A copy of your child’s most recent school report (for children entering in Years 1-6).
For children entering our Reception class we will require a copy of their last Pre-School report if applicable, and we may request a visit to their current daycare/preschool.
A Confidential School Referral report to be completed by your child’s current school/preschool (if applicable).
A full face photograph of your child.
Your child’s most recent immunization record.
To complete your application we require our Registration Fee of $300 to be paid. Please see our Tuition & Fees Policy for more details.

Our Admissions Team will review the application and will be back in touch if additional information is needed.
Please note as part of our application process we typically will ask for an informal meeting with our admissions team or permission to visit our child at their current preschool or school.

Enrolment confirmations will typically be issued by January 31st each year for students applying to join our Reception classes.
Applications for all other year groups are typically reviewed on receipt of all admission documents with no annual deadline.
Subsequent to an enrolment confirmation being provided, we reserve the right to require parents to withdraw their child at any time after admission when the school has not been fully informed of relevant or significant information about that child’s educational social, behavioural, or medical background. In such cases, there will be no financial obligation on the part of the School.

Upon enrolment confirmation, we will require the following to finalize your child’s placement:
Signed Parent Contract
Payment of our Place Deposit of $600 to secure your child’s place. This fee will be applied in full to the first tuition invoice issued in August annually. Please see our full Tuition & Fees Policy for more details.
